To improve the quality of results, jbovlaste search does not return words with insufficient votes. To qualify to be returned in search results, a proposed lujvo is required to have received a vote in favor in both directions: for instance, in English to Lojban and in Lojban to English.

In addition, due to it being a very technically hard problem, full text searching (that is, searching of definitions rather than just keywords) is not available at this time.

  Definition: x1 (quantity) is a hair cleaning/care/maintenance/styling
       substance/product for purpose x2 of composition x3; x1 is a
       quantity of hair product
Notes: This word is something of an u'ivla. Not restricted to only
shampoo (hair cleaning product); can include (but is not
limited to): shampoo, conditioner, hair mousse/gel, hair
replenisher/grower (for baldness), hair coloring dye, hair
styling spray, and even shaving cream/foam; however, it should
be a tool/substance applied to hair semi-permanently, rather
than applied to it only initially in order to modify it for
later (such as a crimper, curler, etc.)—in other words,
kerfrcampu remains with the hair or is scrubbed in and then
washed out in order to function. Hair need not be human, of the
top of the head, or even "real"/biological/belonging to the
individual in question—these characteristics may be specified
by x2. See also krevelylu'i; campu for gismu version of
       same word.
