A wave/signal has some periodic character/intensity which recurs in wave-space (specified by sebo'au) over the course of some characteristic scale/wavelength/duration (as specified by vebo'ai and/or xebo'ai, in conjunction with sebo'au). For example, this intensity may be brightness, loudness, temperature, or height of the ripple/wave - or fluctuations, changes thereof over the course of, for example, time and/or space (in which case the sebo'au-referent space has dimensions of some (possibly null/empty/count) quantity multiplied by inverse seconds and/or respectively inverse meters). For example, a plot of the periodic luminosity function of a the photon emission of a light bulb connected a dimmer switch will have one axis given by the referent of sebo'au (usually the x-axis; in this example, it will be time) and the second axis will be given in terms of photon counts/brightness {the referent of tebo'au); the shape of the wave (the referent of tebo'ai) is the result of how much and how often the dimmer switch is changed/handled/toggled over time (according to the first axis). The referent of this word is merely the terms/quantities/dimensions in which intensity/amplitude are measured for the given wave. The position along the wave and the magnitude of the amplitude (or, more generally, the intensity along the wave) are given by the waveform (tebo'ai) and other wave properties.
