By "fossil" I mean the remains of a once-biological entity/individual
preserved in rock. The veljvo of this word seems to mean something more
like "solidified rock", which would more readily conjure thoughts of
igneous or perhaps sedimentary rock (which do not necessarily contain
traces of once-biological entities/individuals), personally. Should we not
choose a definition more in line with such a concept?
