Why not rityglibau? I interpret gliglibau to mean English as spoken in
England, but not in Scotland, Wales or the Isle of Man. All these
together are British.

Indeed why not. I would prefer rityglibau to be the default translation
of "British English". However, gliglibau has had some usage, and it
should stay, for purposes of Lojban → English.

OTOH, I don't think gliglibau for British English is wrong per se, since
English English does seem to be the "default" or core sense of British
English.
