In Japanese the words for "konjac" and "cognac" sound similar to each
other too.

[koɲːak(ɯ)] "konjac" (eller konjakknölkalla på svenska, växt som
används som vanlig mat i Japan, betydelsen av ordet konjaku på lojban
som phma skapat)

[koɲakː(ɯ)] "cognac" (konjak på svenska, brandy, druvsprit)

(and even:
[koNjak(ɯ)] "promise to marry" (förlovning))

But konjaku in lojban has [ʒ] sound and it doesn't sound so similar to me
to the Japanese counterparts of either "konjac" or "cognac".
