'ralxelboa' would seem to be the frequency of the carrier wave. Shouldn't
this be 'ralterbo'a'?

You have a point. I think the gloss and definition should be changed to
“carrier frequency”. But:

I think the salient characteristic of the carrier wave is its frequency
(or alternatively, the wavelength). The boxna_3 is always a sine wave. so
ralterbo'a is not a good alternative here.

Using just ralju+boxna might be an option, but then again, in some
modulation forms the carrier wave is suppressed, and thus absent
altogether. One receives such a signal by tuning the receiver to the
(absent) carrier.
