Discussion of "dunlixu"

Curtis W Franks (Fri Jan 29 06:43:19 2021)

I suggest making it so that x1 and x2 collapse into just x1, being a set
or category vel sim., and defining it as "Either every element of x1
(set/category/vel sim.) satisfies predicate x2, or no element of x1
satisfies x2.". In other words, it would mean: "(α ∈ x1 ⇒ x2(α)) or (α ∈
x1 ⇒
(¬x2(α))).".
This would not be back-compatible with the current definition though, and
it may not be compatible with the rest of the series that was developed
here such that the others cannot be expanded in tbe same way (I have not
yet checked).

Alternatively, we should permute the current x1 and current x3 in meaning
and then allow for ar itrarily many sumti slots which are in the same role
as x2 and new x3 (currently/old x1), rather like "jutsi". This also make
the definition feel slightly more Lojbanic to me.

I added the dunliblabla series to distinguish the four or so meanings
for which people were using dunli, of which all have as arguments two
compared objects followed by a predicate.

For your first suggestion simjovgo might be a possible spelling, and for
the second one maybe jovgy'emna or .emnyjovgo

or simjovgo would rather mean "x1 all have the same truth value", and
"x1 either all satisfy x2 or all don't" would have to be something
else, simkaijovgo maybe
