Discussion of "sei'au"

Curtis W Franks (Sat Dec 26 04:14:15 2015)

Pretend that it is Wednesday evening. You make arrangements with your
friend to meet "in two days", but by context you both know that you do not
mean exactly forty-eight hours from now (which would be in the evening)
but sometime reasonable on the upcoming Friday. A correct way to express
this notion is to use "sei'au" with the function being the ceiling
function and then filling the altered terbri with the sumti meaning 'li re'
(which specifies the number of days).
