It is hard to describe, but I see them as being different. The greater
contrast occurs with their negatives: antagonism is rather different from
privacy. But I see .i'i as representing company of some kind (maybe just
emotionally) or a similarity of spirit; .uai is more of friendly
intention or behavior, the speaker is trying to actively be nice in some
fashion.
