It does not have the elliptical aspect to it. Also, "no particular feeling" can sometimes be different from a very active sense of absence of emotion. Sometimes, when one focuses, is undergoing clinical depression (which does not mean only constant sadness), is meditating, etc., one has purposefully or otherwise actively banished emotion. It is not "no particular feeling", it is the 'feeling' of emotional absence entirely.
I personally object to ge'e being both elliptical and "no particular feeling"; those are two distinct meanings to me. This word is related to the latter and helps separate them out, but it does not solve that problem.

I agree, in the current ma'oste ge'e seems to me to have two different meanings.

ge'e is used both as a separate UI and as a UI-modifier acc. to CLL. For the latter I once suggested using na'i instead.

What about usage examples where ne'au and ne'aunai are used? Without them it'd be hard to start using this particle.
