Curtis W Franks (Thu Jan 16 21:59:11 2014)

Obviously, subjectivity is not limited to (but does include) opinion and
judgment. But it is not immediately clear to me how subjectivity
(non-objectivity) is related closely to pertaining to a subject. I admit
that I am interpreting "subject" to mean "topic" or "object"/"thing"; I am
trying to expand my horizons here, but I am not sure that I can. Please
enlighten me?

"Subject" doesn't mean "topic", it means "someone who is aware" as opposed
to "something that someone is aware of" (object).
