I assume that this applies to total ordered sets. Can we generalize or
create a similar concept for partially ordered sets? We should also be
able to specify the norm being used.

What sets are you talking about? Here is how I use it:

lo tadni cu memymau lo ctuca
"The students are more than the teachers."

Ah, okay. So, implicitly, the set is that of students/teachers, which
have cardinality belonging to the naturals or zero.
