My main issue is that it is a somewhat abnormal operator for Lojban at the

later be interpreted as/converted to a number if necessary. In particular,
the output attaches as digits to surrounding strings if digits before they

output of an operator should dictate its selma'o; this word operates on one
number in order to form an output in mekso- that seems like an unary
operator in VUhU to me.
