Discussion of "nunji'e"

Comment #1: Double-meaning of the gloss "life"
Jeremy Davis (Thu Feb 25 20:21:45 2016)

This valsi is glossed as "life", which can mean either "the event of being
alive" or "the property of being alive". We should probably specify that
"nunji'e" means the event and enter a new lujvo, "kamji'e", for the
property. Does anyone have any objections?

Far from an objection, I agree.

Alright. I'll make the change, then. Also, I should have mentioned this
before, but the French gloss is just as ambiguous. Unfortunately, while I
know French well enough to recognize the ambiguity, I don't know it well
enough to confidently express the specific meaning of each lujvo. So
someone else will have to do that.
